Update* Tesla went above and beyond to fix my truck today and get it back to me this afternoon. Very happy. The Tesla Pensacola service center stepped up and did an awesome job. They even detailed the truck before I picked it up. It was all covered by warranty. I’m very pleased.

I totally agree. I have pretty significant issues with the amount of authority that CBP has,... but they certainly have it. These guys weren’t going to come out ahead.

People need to stop putting politicians on a pedestal in general. Normalize talking shit about them. They’re supposed to be working for us. Hell, normalize prosecuting presidents.

The absolute last thing that Tesla wanted then, and wants now is to move out of the speculative environment and into a situation where they’re actually judged for what they are (an auto manufacturer) based on their actual financials. Also, Tesla was not flush with cash in 2019.

I voted for Biden and I’m going to do it again and I’m not afraid to say Fuck Joe Biden...

Its makes it 60% more MAGA that it was at fucking Talladega...

If I were long on Tesla, my biggest fear would be a cash crunch of some kind. The last time they had to raise cash, the world economy was in a different place and cash was flowing freely.

1. BUY a bigger car company. I think they could have bought GM with plenty of money to spare.

Sorry,... the optimal headline is:

Maybe they could even vote to all stop working in unison

Many great companies have thought like this and you can watch them fade off into nothing over time because they’re wrong. Despite the constant desire to make the line go up so the execs can get their bonuses and move onto the next company, you can’t actually run a company successfully long term with a handful of key

...That literally means nothing.

“Rich CEO had no culpability because even though he lied about the death machine he built, non-experts should have known better”...

So,... What you’re saying specifically is that he misled them about the risks?

You honestly think that they advertised that they had been told that it was not a question of IF but WHEN it would fail? You think that they just told potential customers that it would fail at some point at depth and everyone inside would be killed?

It was obviously heavily implied that it was safe,... Do you honestly think that they would get many takers if they advertised “many experienced submariners have told me that this sub is definitely a death trap”?

I would say that the son of the other passenger was the only one that I feel bad for... People said that he was scared to go on the sub.

Years later with no receipt???

Who cares? Its a stupid fucking name for a manufacturing process...

It wouldn’t surprise me if Tesla played fast and loose with keeping replacement parts available as they iterate the design.
