The solution I found was to not get people gifts if I don’t want gifts from them... They may have gotten offended one year, but the next year the problem was solved. We stopped exchanging junk that neither of us really wanted.

Anyone who can invest has their daily needs met and can afford to use their surplus for other thing,... You drastically overestimate how many people are truly in that situation. It’s a luxury.

It’s not as simple as she makes it out to be. Depreciation on the structure of a business property is spread out over 39 years. The structure ages over that period and would need significant refurbishment or replacement.

I would say that the justification for raising these caps would be that they were probably included explicitly to penalize people in states with high property values (that are typically Dem states).

When the debt is free or close to it, it starts sounding a lot more like income. They can have a discount on capital gains if they actually sell stock to pay the debts... which they usually don’t.

Unless you’re really slumming it with us poors, the proposal would not have affected you. If you are taxed at a certain level and then it goes down, you get a rebate.

I don’t know if they started calling it something other than “Just In Time”,... I don’t think the branding really matters, but I do believe that it’s an evolution of just in time rather than turning away from it.
