Because it’s been requested by the family not to share publicly, which is reasonable because making the footage public has no benefit for the general population, whereas body cam footage from a cop is requested as a means of keeping honest the wildly corrupt system of policing across our country? Huh, DIPHSIT??? lmao

It’s almost as if these are wildly different situations, you moron.

Oh, he’s one of those cliche-spouting conservative weirdos. It’s a shame they can’t be sentenced to actually reading all those books with Bill O’Reilly’s name on them or something.

I watched “See No Evil, Hear No Evil” recently. I watched it when I was a kid, and loved it, but I never went back to it after I learned it was considered a bit of a low point in terms of the films he made with Richard Pryor.

But it’s quite good! It’s gentle and sweet and decent!

When they say the same old tired words, again and again, like cringe or woke or the dreaded “cry laugh emoji” like they’re some kind of rhetorical cudgel, you know exactly who you’re talking to and what they’re really getting at. Huge sigh

This movie doing poorly in theaters is going to be a problem for Netflix? I’m going to have to question your police work there, Lou.

Rory Kinnear is brilliant (his Iago at the National Theatre was one of the best Shakespeare performances I’ve ever seen) and I couldn’t be more stoked about seeing him let loose in a Garland horror.

Uuucchh. Enough with the “Evil Dies Tonight” shit already. That was a terrible, terrible movie.

This entire new Halloween series has been offensively off the mark.

Violent Night sounds fun.

White women failing to recognize intersectionality is a problem, but Fox was pretty clearly referring to MeToo’s rise to actual prominence in 2017, not asserting that she was the first person to ever speak up about the issue.

Thank you! The same people who claim to want to dismantle gender stereotypes are some of the same people bashing Harry for his "women's" clothes. Especially given his popularity, this kind of stuff is really important to young kids who may want to experiment with clothes, make up but are scared of getting bullied. Not

Counterpoint: why should nail polish and any gender clothing need to signify sexual orientation or gender at all? I know straight men who enjoy wearing makeup and straight women who prefer suits and crew cuts. Normalizing the idea that clothes, makeup, jewelry, etc have no inherent gender attached makes everyone

Novelty dishware you say? For ice cream, you say?

Who’s really looking forward to the Part 2 movie, presumably after the first one ends with “Defying Gravity”? There’s only like one good song after that.

You forgot, *again*, that he’s a nazi. You seriously need to stop forgetting that this man is a *literal* *fucking* *nazi*

I recall the Producers just simply being bad

Other than being an obvious money grab my guess is that adapting the musical to the big screen has probably been very difficult. The stage show leaves out a ton of context to explain what is going on in Oz (and, you know, the plot overall) that is mostly just glossed over because...“Hey listen to this fun song! Here’s

I don’t love this idea. I thought it made sense for Dune, but I’m not sold on this approach for Wicked since can be a significant tonal shift in musicals from Act I to Act II, which I think works when the intermission is 15 minutes rather than a year or two. If they end the first movie with “Defying Gravity”, then the
