Reagan was literally the POTUS who instituted major trickle-down economic theory. You’d have to go back farther than him.

“But what I’m not getting is why can’t people just not use Twitter? Just...leave?”

Jesus Christ.

Eisenhower levels of taxation.

That thinking is very wishful. If he’s allowed back on Twitter, I guarantee you every news outlet will rush to report on every tweet he makes. Trump has one skill, and that’s keeping his name in the news, and the outlets are happy to oblige.

Haha. Seriously. Twitter is absolute cancer and I really hope this kills it. It often feels like Twitter is THE single most responsible source for the decline of journalism. Seems like half of formerly “legit” news sources now spend inordinate amounts of time broadcasting a bunch of random dipshits’ twitter hottakes

Boy, hard to imagine that backfiring spectacularly. If only there were numerous examples of social media sites turning into absolute sewers thanks to “free speech” from which we could learn...

If you’ve been following republican politics as of late, baselessly calling huge swaths of peope “pedos” appears to be the culmination of the American Dream ~250 years in the making.

My main fear with all this (as someone who basically never uses twitter, aside from finding out where the local food trucks are): how long until he lifts the ban on trump and other dangerous right-wingers, in the name of “free speech”?

Man, I’m not looking forward to several months of *bloggers mourning Twitter and pretending it was good*.

was kind of hoping this would be a one and done.

Please try to enjoy each season equally.

Yup, this was one of those shows I had to convince myself (and my wife) to keep watching past the first two eps - JUST intriguing enough to keep us going and thank god, because it just gets weirder and weirder and we’re here for it.

he’s especially phenomenal in the dance party sequence. they made such great use of all the space surrounding the tiny cubicles to make it work.

Both of their dialogue delivery is chilling.

If a company had 4 people and a 3200 square foot room, they would definitely still cram them together in little cubicles.

I know it’s a dystopian hellscape. But I want one of those keyboards.

I like this show. Patricia Arquette and Dichen Lachmann both are well cast as characters you want to like but who really might not be very good people.
