Everyone fucks, shits, and pisses, so no one should be surprised I’m naked. I have a reasonable expectation of not being secretly photographed by individuals without my consent, let alone having said pictures of me posted on the internet for profit.

The werepanthers were pretty shark-jumpy, too. And the Ifrit that chases Terry in that Iraq revenge plotline. And Billith. Honestly, the whole show after like season 3 was one big, campy, ridiculous shark jump. But I still watched it.

Unimportant in the grand scheme of things, but Rutger Hauer’s character Niall wasn’t a villian in True Blood. He was a good guy—Sookie’s fairy grandfather who helped her defeat the vampire-fairy hybrid Warlow. Sidenote: True Blood was insane.

Sad day. He was a gifted actor and was willing to play bot the hero and the villain equally well.

He only ad libbed the bit at the end about tears in rain. The rest was in the script. I saw him at a convention a few years back and he could still recite the entire speech, though he admitted that he had no idea what most of it meant. He was a class act. RIP

The Hitcher is so great!!

I first saw him in The Hitcher, and I thought he was absolutely terrifying in it. I probably didn’t see Blade Runner until after I saw Ladyhawke, all of which showed what a great range he had.

The original Rutger Hauer “Hitcher” is one of the scariest thrillers ever made. If you have not seen it, do.

The leering isn't about what is and isn't quality nakidity, but rather about having the power to creep someone out, or the power to force someone to see. When that thrill wears off, they will escalate.

There are few absolute truisms in life, but one of them is undoubtedly that any time a group of well-meaning people are granted a particular freedom, the worst fringes of society will exploit and ruin it for everyone else.

That you do not understand that being naked and jacking off are not the same thing says a lot about you and nothing good. 

Nudists, or Naturists as some prefer it, don’t object to male nudity. They object to sexualizing it around others.
