Korean pokemon store is all just stuff from Japan on a few month delay.
But it’s also just an online store, so you can order it yourself if you wanted. Besides pop up stores they have every few months, there hasn’t been any unique merchandise from the official pokemon store for here in Korea.
Besides the cards, I can’t

I can’t not read that logo as “Show your Me nerd”

Was going to buy one of these I saw at a store for my phone, and my phone alone was too heavy for it to maintain position. Couldn’t imagine using it with a switch.

I guess I need to find a higher quality product.

I’ve still yet to see any Fortnite at PC rooms here in korea, but I’ll probably stop by one today. I’ll check if anyones playing.

It’s still like 80% Overwatch/ PUBG/ League, and then the rest are people doing various other things.
Maplestory and Dungeon fighter are also extremely common still.

With Monster Hunter World back on consoles that aren’t the switch, it seems unlikely I’ll get my dream of a Monster Hunter character.

I guess I could play her in MvC but... that games not great.

For those curious, they were on a variety show and the Host asked them why they were named Seventeen even though they only had thirteen members. It’s a little bit of a convoluted reason in my opinion, but that’s to be expected from K-pop!

It seems to me that what they intended was for it to be easy to drop in and drop out, but this instead is some weird convoluted session id nonsense. Most of the time I was playing I would have no SOS response, and unable to find other players. Even when It said I was in a full online session or whatever.

I hope they

Could’ve sworn this was already talked about on Kotaku, that’s why I never sent in a message about it last month.

Anyways, that pic is from the new Nintendo store in the iPark mall in Yongsan.

I was there a few weeks ago and it’s pretty nice, but seriously lacking in content. They had a big amiibo display that only had

The Nintendo division here is small. So they wanted to play it safe.
Just speaking from my own personal point of view, but it seems like they wanted to see how it was doing before making the very small jump that they did to release it here.

It should be noted it isn’t even fully supported. There is no Korean language

Tim, I honestly think you’re one of the best things to come out of this site in a while, so keep on doing what you do.

Keep making videos about anything and I will CONSUME them like it is my basic human need.

Doesn’t that picture of Doki Doki kind of ruin it for those who were going to start playing it?
This site seems to be the only one who posts the pictures like that.

My favorite part of when I was playing the mmo was the space ship shooting missions.

I didn’t even mind doing them daily because I enjoyed them. Too bad I couldn’t say that for the rest of the game.

Yeah that is unfortunate.
It seems that at least in korea the PC room benefits are either free stamina potions, or a discount on the use per dungeon.

Different companies have different benefits from what I understand by my students. But also it seems that even with the stamina restrictions, you have to play a lot to

Closers is really popular among my high school students.

For the ones who aren’t strictly into LOL, Heroes, Overwatch, or PUBG.
A lot of my 3rd graders (seniors) last year really liked this game and Dungeon Fighter Online.

To be fair, a lot of that comes from the companies that bring it stateside.
In Korea those pay to win benefits are usually stuff you get for free when you go to play the game inside a PC room.

They are PC room benefits inherently in the game, and western developers don’t know how to put that into the game so it’s

Snow starts on the 11th and will last through to the end of February.

Damn there was a pop up store last year?
I never heard anything about it.
I’ve been going to a ton of pokemon pop up stores this past year and a half.
They always have crazy long lines too.

I don’t know if the main post was edited to show more pictures, but every single picture does say 1/6th scale.

The figure itself looks really nice, and at a foot tall thats seems like a fair price.

It just seems like a really weird practice that a lot of companies have been doing.

I understand the exclusivity of it being for early adopters or those who buy it immediately, but make it available later too.

I’m all for the free preorder bonus that Square Enix has been doing these days.
But I’m super against the fact that they have all been exclusive and unobtainable.

I didn’t preorder ffix, or buy ffxv digitally on ps4, and because of that I can’t buy the ps4 themes they had tied to them.
Don’t they want my money??
