Titan Normal? Because yeah... the landslides are a rite of passage I’m afraid.

You and I aren’t the target for that kind of mechanic. This has actually been well-documented at this point. Jim Sterling has practically composed a masters thesis on the subject if you’d like to watch his videos about it. Pay special attention to the ones where he’s spoken to gambling addicts and their families.
Wow there’s a whole thing there to be had based on that one sentence alone.
“I spent over 200,000 yen ($1,794) on the game and I didn’t get the [in-game] item I wanted”
Doubt it since MTG Online is rarely played face to face.
At least you could take comfort in the fact that the people capable of doing anything about that are totally abdicating their responsibility in the matter.
One better: There’s ALWAYS been a recent mass shooting in the US.
You realize your entire reply sounds like “I couldn’t be bothered to read the thread” right?
That hasn’t been my experience. Like I said you learn to filter noise pretty quickly if you’re paying any attention. Maybe I don’t buy enough triple-A games to see what you’re seeing, but the reviews and discussion posts I’ve read on games I’ve been curious about have been very helpful.
Counterpoint: Steam’s forums and reviews are places to get real feedback about a game and hear opinions from real people about their experience playing it. You learn to filter the noise just fine.
I have done nothing of the sort. Thanks for playing though.
Did I use the words “huge betrayal” anywhere? Reviews and discussions are common features of just about every major online storefront you can think of today. So is a shopping cart btw. Noticed you just ignored that one.
So you’re one of those people that assumes I’m ok with harassment unless I specifically say that I’m not? It’s not enough to just go ahead and take it as a given that most people are generally not ok with that?
And that’s exactly what I do. I don’t buy them. I don’t particularly want to have 12 different launchers each with 2 or 3 games on them. I think that’s stupid. I believe GOG is working on a solution to that, and I’m looking forward to seeing what they have in mind.
A game store without a shopping cart (that oh btw bans you should you actually buy things from it)
So you draw conclusions based on your own biases and a tiny snippet of text. Got it.
How is it intellectually dishonest? You said yourself there are legitimate criticisms of the Epic store and their aggressive exclusivity strategy. Am I supposed to shelve my own problems with those things because some people want to act like Internet tough guys? Because to me THAT is intellectually dishonest.
Obviously harassment is bad. Thanks, after school special over.
The best experience with GeForce is... downloading the drivers through their website like a normal person and pretending their bloatware doesn’t exist.
