They have a lot of catching up to do now. The PS5 better cure at least 2 kinds of cancer at this rate.

I was very impressed with MS’ cross-play and cross-platform support. Leveraging their PC install base is really smart and gets them a ton of new customers. Also the Keanu Reaves thing happened during their conference so................. yeah.
Oh easily over 100.
Can’t.. Need to buy Switch. Hype too stronk.

That would’ve been funny, but I think they were still better off emphasizing their cross platform support with PC players.
After thinking about it a little bit, I’m actually wondering how much money Nintendo could possibly have given Square not to announce this Seiken Densetsu collection themselves. The way their audience was already going, they’d have set the building on fire.
It took me a moment to decide where the music was from, then the realization hit, then I saw Duran.... and that was the end of that.
Yep.
The Microsoft presentation was also excellent. But between them and Nintendo, whoever at Sony decided not to show up this year is going to be murdered in the parking lot.
No lies I was half expecting Bowser’s “one more thing” at the end there to be Mother 3. That’s the kind of high they’ve been cultivating here.
I cried.
Seiken Densetsu 3. I don’t believe I’ve ever actually burst into tears seeing a video game trailer, but damnit... that may have just happened.
Is it like sending an error report to Microsoft? Because that sure paid dividends.
I’m mostly concerned about what disc 2 is going to be. In Caveman-FF7, Midgar was about a third of the entire game. A lot for sure, but only a third in total.
Yeah you’re probably right. I mean FF7 was only the most popular game in the entire franchise spawning sequels, prequels, movies, and a line of decorative bath soaps. The original style of game probably wouldn’t be that popular.
Can you explain what you mean by that?
Nope. Damage in FFXV is calculated per hit not per attack, so number cloud ahoy.
I can accept this.
I found FFXV’s combat system worked fine for that game, but I don’t think it’d work fine in another game.
Erm... ok I was a little afraid of that... it looks like they’re using some variant of FFXV’s combat system. That isn’t really a good thing. FFXV’s combat system was kind of garbage.
