One of the wildest things I’ve learned from construction is just how absolutely insane asbestos is. It straight up defies all the traditional tradeoffs every other material has regarding weight, strength, insulation, rigidity, and cost. As far as i know, all pickup trucks have the fuel filler on the driver side. If you are towing, you dont want the hassle of walking all the way around the truck and trailer to get the fuel filler
