I WISH the US would adopt more roundabouts. I lived in Palm Desert for almost 7 years and they had a couple of roundabouts in higher traffic areas, and it just flowed so nicely.

I think you’re correct in the sense that SCOTUS has yet to rule on the actual substantive constitutionality of the law, and I’m as sure as I am of anything that that test case is coming, and likely soon. However, I’m not super confident that we’re going to get anything other than the same 5-4 split.

The Supreme Court evaded on injuncting the law by claiming lack of standing. What they need to do is get some well-off backers to financially back-stop a clinic to deliberately provoke one of these lawsuits, so they can then contest it as unconstitutional in court.
