Having worked in a *nix environment for years, my only experience with these things is when someone emails (or puts into a word document) a set of commands and word/outlook infuriatingly replaces command line options (such as -i or -o) with these things (such as —i or —o), completely breaking things.

If it’s from before the trial, the shirt is what I would be worried about (since I’m sure the questionaire likely asked if he had an opinion on the case and that’s specifically how the defendant killed the victim).

Yes, all of these are true, but especially #2. A few years ago, I set up my camera to take a family photo at a holiday. I put it on the tripod and hit the 10-second timer button, then bopped over to the sofa where everyone else was already posed. I was a smidge closer to the camera than everyone else because I perched

And the questionaire asked if he participated in a march. A photo of him with two relatives wearing a BLM shirt doesn’t constitute a march. Where’s the lie?

So when is the picture from? If it came after the trial I can't see how it is really a show of bias, the jurry found Chauvin guilty after all and he specifically killed a man by kneeling on him.

On the one hand, yes, food labeling should be accurate. On the other hand, they’re fucking Bagel Bites—I am not expecting haute cuisine when I eat Bagel Bites.

Even if you aren’t, the lawyers get rich, a few lead members of the class might get a little bit of money, everybody else gets a coupon for $0.50 off a box of Bagel Bites. Even if you are unemployed, it’s probably not worth your time filling out the paperwork.

I wish to subscribe to your podcast.

The suit seeks class-action status on behalf of anyone who bought Bagel Bites in Wisconsin, asking for unspecified damages as well as updated Bagel Bites packaging.

My mom and I used to be exactly the same height, but she has shrunk noticeably in the past year, I think her forehead is about at my eye level now, and she’s more than 20 years younger than Jimmy Carter.

1) Have you met 100 year old people? They shrink. My great grandmother went from 5'4" to 4'8" between her 80th and 90th birthdays and weighed 68 pounds when she passed at 102.

The article could be improved by describing or defining the hyphen, which is mentioned. If your readers are not familiar with various dashes, why expect them to know enough about the hyphen to make comparisons to it?

I know an evangelical whose husband and father of her daughters is stuck indefinitely in Central America but still voted for T***p because he’s “pro-life”, and she was OK with the possibility of him being stuck in CA for a long time as long as T***p was president as long as he “saved the fetuses.”  I am not making

It really was just because of COVID that mail in votes were more likely to be democratic.  Typically absentee ballots skew republican because they’re mostly old people.

Which can be translated to: “But I am white! Why are they departing my undocumented husband?!”

It’s like that Trump supporter whose husband got deported to Mexico under Trump.

Well when this inevitably backfires on the GOP — especially when the elderly in Florida are no longer able to vote by mail — I wonder which state will be the first to overtly make it illegal to vote if you are black.

Yeah, this line of thinking always confused me... in most states (ie. not OR, CO, etc. which have all mail voting), elderly people are more likely to vote by mail. And, in most cases, elderly people tend to lean conservative. They get this one whiff of minorities using this system, and they go full fucking Birth of a
