Well, it can be. It can also be used irresponsibly. And it can very much also be a part of wild conspiracy theories. There are absolutely conspiracy theories involving cloud seeding. Just because something is real doesn’t mean people don’t believe nutty things about it.
Oh, very likely, but I’m also curious about his question. I know the wastewater from boiling water power plants has substantial effects on the local wildlife habitat. It’s not particularly relevant how the water gets up to the boiling point. It’s just I’m sure somebody’s looked at the overall impact on local…
Hm. Now I very much want to test the back hatch on my RAV4, since I keep my dog back there, and I’m always afraid she’ll stick her head out suddenly while it’s closing. I mean, I stand right by the door and watch her while it’s closing, but still, there’s that fear . . .
Never mind the influence, just the general mindset of the average Bozeman resident. They do not care who you are. If you have money, they care insofar as you pay your bills with it. It does not make you special.

And it’s only March.
Nah, he never calls me wiffy. ;-) Mostly because he already uses that joke pronunciation for the wireless network and he’s a nerd first and foremost, so I guarantee it would never occur to him!
While today’s Delta IV Heavy will be the last to bear the Delta name, the family technically isn’t completely dead. Japan still flies the H-IIA rocket, which is derived from the old classic Thor-Delta* family and built by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries. H-IIA has two more flights planned before retirement.
My husband (in the US) sometimes calls it “wih-fee”, but that’s because he’s a goofball.
It *kind* of is, in a very roundabout way. (Or at least, it might.) The Bluetooth wireless protocol is named after a historical figure, Harald Bluetooth, and the most popular theory for why he’s called that is that one of his front teeth was dead (i.e. had turned grayish blue). The Bluetooth icon is actually his…
Agreed. This is an appropriate situation for the use of a teleoperated robot. Send the robot in to evaluate the situation. This allowed apprehension of the suspect without any loss of life. It’s not like Spot is armed (except in the literal sense of having a manipulator arm).
Psst: my :-P was supposed to be a hint that I think you guys are taking this waaaaay too seriously.
MY ASSUMPTION IS BETTER THAN HIS!!!! :-p
I’m going by what a Boeing employee described elsewhere. Also, this didn’t happen at a Spirit facility; it happened at a Boeing facility, on the 737 assembly line, not at Spirit Aerosystems in Kansas. Spirit will send employees into Boeing facilities to perform rework. it’s not like Boeing will receive a fuselage,…
Well, just because there’s new air being brought in doesn’t mean it’ll keep up with the production of more peanut farts. ;-)
I won’t judge, because I don’t know their situation. I mean, maybe they’ve got my dog in the car with them. That dog has some serious farts. ;-)
There were criminal charges during those scandals too, actually. The Delta IV scandal involved corporate espionage, and I seem to recall someone actually went to prison over it.
Now that I *would* accept. ;-)
