It’s episodes like this one that make me realize how much I’m going to miss this show; the nearest example I match it to is Mad Men - it’s layered with little explaining or recapping during the episode itself, and it trusts that the people watching it are functional adults.

Yeah, they need to bring the storylines together, it’s really the only way to care about all of them, they are too separate as they are now. But GOD-DAMN is FRANKLIN a great actor. Young Denzel in my opinion.

I like that Franklin’s narrative is about freedom, empowerment and independence. He’s trying to make a name for himself, get ahead in the world and fights for respect. He walks through the Black Panther HQ and imagines himself as some sort of revolutionary.

As stupid as the whole Sansa/Arya thing was, I was fairly satisfied with the conclusion, even though you had to infer a lot of what may have happened (Sansa and Arya talked to each other like normal people to figure out what was going on, or even better, they talked with Bran, who hasn’t done anything all season).

GoT discussion is one of the things that made AV Club great. The pre-Kinja GoT reviews usually get 1000 posts within 12 hours.
