I think they just agreed, for the sake of being able to see the actors, to be inaccurate about dress in that climate. They would have to be bundled from head to toe at all times.

Thank you for giving this horrific show its due (I can’t believe it is being so overlooked), including the freaky music in that one scene. I’ve never noticed Adam Nagaitis in other roles before, but hell if he isn’t shaping up to be one of TV’s best villains ever.

Michelle expressed our righteous anger, and thank god someone finally had the nuts to do it. Trump and the Republicans don’t need “fodder,” they incite hatred with no grounds whatsoever. It is possible to love both the series and the book. Read it! It’s different enough from the series to hold one’s interest. I am also astounded at Simmons’ ability to so viscerally create that time and place. He is a master.
