....aaand maybe less horrible than Josh Bolton, who would otherwise bomb Iran...?

“It will be so refreshing to have a classy, beautiful, dignified First Lady back in the White House”

EXACTLY

This is the motto of the Republican Party re: deficits, cooperating with newly elected Presidents, deficit spending and economic stimulus through infrastructure programs, is it not?

...and now that Republicans are in charge, it’s perfectly OK to run a deficit to fund an infrastructure stimulus package to goose up the economy. So let’s put that on the list:

Let’s start counting.....

He’s not going to do any work. He’s going to “delegate” everything the President is supposed to do, the same way he’s been running the Trump organization for years. He won’t read anything he signs and won’t care what it says, just as he never read anything (leases, for instance in the famous videotaped deposition)

We can’t impeach him — he has a Republican House and Senate.

I’m also so tired of our being told we should “unite” behind Trump.

And wherever she lost, the third party votes would have made up the difference.

And what was that Trump comment about “high flying assets”? What was he even talking about? He wasn’t already giving away top-secret information about spy planes, was he?

Apparently Trump’s staff is already worried about keeping Trump in Washington, especially since he flew back to NYC after every campaign stop.

But what was that whole Trump comment about “high-flying assets”? What does that even mean?

I think in some ways the fact that Trump continually took pot shots at all the Republican pols will now help to save us: they’ll pick and choose what they’ll agree to do, and he will sit there, frustrated, and finally realize it’s not much fun to be President and that you don’t actually get to do whatever you want.

And the whole “Mexico will pay for it.” How, exactly, ya gonna make ‘em do that? Pay for a wall we’ll build on our side of the Rio Grande? What, exactly, are you going to do to force US corporations to move their factories back to Michigan and Ohio? And how, exactly, are you gonna force companies to burn coal again

And who, precisely, will do the “impeaching”? The Republican House and Republican Senate? Doubtful. We pretty much insured we have an impeach-proof President.

Yes, but Washington was a mess because the very first thing the Republicans decided to do after President Obama was elected was insure he got nothing done and would only be a one-term President. So they basically held their breath for 8 years, refusing to let him do almost anything. They caused the gridlock that they

Plus, the Right did a truly impressive job of suppressing and depressing the African-American vote since 2008 through Voter ID laws, closing polling stations, eliminating or shortening early voting periods — you name it. Let’s give them credit for having accomplished that goal — getting scared shitless by the Obama

And when we want to impeach President Trump, because of some blatant conflict of interest — like starting up Trump University again — which you know we will want to, we won’t be able to.

This is going to be one long “let’s humor him” four years for other heads of state. Lots of nodding and smiling, then big eye rolls when they think the cameras aren’t on them. Lots of “behind the scenes” meetings where everyone sets up scenarios ahead of time as to how they’re all going to handle him to get him to do
