His eyes went black and he slapped my face.
I'm also pretty sure this is the rumored reason why Cary Grant didn't take that role, as he was afraid of outing himself (whether as bi or gay, I've never really been sure, but, etc)
This just gave me a pick-me-up for the rest of my day. I love them.
He doesn't get to have as much showy fun as his co-stars but I find him so delightful.
Ricky Whittle is able to bring out a really nice innocence to Shadow that's definitely lacking in the book's narrative, which contrasts nicely with Laura's general lack of [insert most positive attributes] in her newly dead-ness.
Underrated moment: Shadow basking in the general loveliness of a favorite holiday and then actually *meeting* Easter and turning into a shy teenage boy.

Just as I can be so cruel!
No love for 'Within You'?
I don't think that upset fans are failing to understand that the cost of the show probably played into this cancellation, what a lot of people are generally fearing (in the same fell swoop that viewers of The Get Down, Underground might be feeling) is that even places like Netflix, which can push almost any envelope…

YES. Excellent. Weekend plans confirmed.
If you had to make one sensate story in a singular TV show, 'lito and hernando doing literally anything' would be at the top of my list
I'm still chuckling at Spanish Dracula though, so I thank you.
That'd be fine if Netflix were my only resource for "a lotta dead teen girls in gritty suburban England" TV.
This is what I get for telling my parents to watch Broadchurch.
I really do get that this was probably an expensive show, given the various international locations but I really want to see what they're spending on other projects if they're only gonna apply this rule to shows about people of color and the LGBT community.
good thing Netflix made that investment in like, 8 indistinguishable British crime dramas
Every performance in Moonlight is a standout but Ashton Sanders just destroys me.
I knew as soon as I saw Michelle McLaren's name in the credits that I was in for a world of hurt.
