No kidding. This winter was terrible. My wife has said that our new car should be at least part-time AWD. (Lansing area here)

I've seen a lot of unexpected cars doing burnouts in my time at Los Jalops, and I think this Tatra 613 might be the rarest one I've seen.

Shoot, I don't know why it didn't occur to me till now to submit the Beartooth Highway/Beartooth Pass in my native Wyoming and Montana. Would have bumped off #10 at 10,947 ft. Missed opportunity.

I've been there. I think 4 or 5 cars drove around me before my uncle (who was teaching me) and I figured out what was happening. This was also the same day I stalled about 17,000 times in the grocery store parking lot with basically my whole town watching.

I guess 180 degrees is still technically an angle...

DAT FRONT OVERHANG

These are more likely to both have Chevy small blocks I think.

Complete with carbon fiber packaging!

Sounds like a good plan. Who knows, we may follow suit!

DUDE. Same with me! I totally have my wife sold on a V60 as well! She really doesn't like the humanoid-shaped climate control buttons, but said she could be persuaded to get over it if we were to do the Overseas Delivery program.

Go for it! Heaven knows we need all the help we can get pitching fun cars to our spouses. :D

Aren't all the Honda people driving Fords now? That's what the commercials seem to tell me anyway..... :S

"R-design? Oh that just stands for 'reliable'."

Ay, there's the rub. I think lots of people maybe hold off on having kids because they're afraid it will cramp their current lifestyle.

Well, to be brutally honest, she probably falls into that category herself. But you're right, and what I should have said was that if you can afford to have kids, then you have the luxury of choosing when to start. My wife and I are coming up on a year and a half of marriage, but probably won't start till next year

Probably because people are waiting until they can "afford" kids. This financial benchmark may or may not coincide with also being able to afford a BMW or Volvo. A co-worker of mine made a great point once that you never can "afford" to have kids, so you may as well just start once you feel like you want to.

I'm considering one of these too for when we get a new car. Do you like it?

Before the French invented minivans, humanity had these Volvo wagons, and we all grew up just fine.

Bingo. We need the automatic for the same reason we need hybrids and EVs. It allows the companies to conform to federal standards and requirements, while still leaving room for the manufacture of enthusiast-driven (no pun intended) models. Enthusiasts get what they want, the government gets what they want, and the

This is one of those instances where you should DEFINITELY test drive before buying.
