This is really the key thing: it's not that he's innocent. It's that he's not guilty of the charges based on the evidence given. HUGE difference if you give a damn about the basic philosophies of our fundamental legal rights.

What got me was the juror admitting out loud that they held the fact he didn't testify on his own behalf against him. That they were upset he didn't speak and this made them think his story was less trustworthy. That is the first thing they tell you NOT to do when you have jury duty.

Yeah, unless there is evidence we aren't hearing about, nothing presented so far would have led me to convict him. I have no idea if he did it or not, but the evidence just isn't there to put him away.
