I need to get some new "Shut Up" gifs, I'm getting through them too fast...

God bless you, I was just going to post that.

Reading the comments here it does appear that many (not all, but many) theists have an essential meaness to their characters. Not sure the Christ of the bible would have much time for them.

"Why don't all atheists commit massive suicide in cases like this, since there is absolutely no meaning in this life?" -dreampixel

Is is a perfect example of just how brainwashed religious people get. It is one of the most awesomely ignorant statements I have read in awhile. Yes, only your imaginary friend in the sky

Goddamnit Timothy (and Gawker commentariat), never ever let another story about Wolf Blitzer be posted without this picture somewhere:

Thank the Lord for what?

Doesn't God work in mysterious ways, everyone? In the face of such a tragedy, he's always there to remind us of the one fact that can hold us together, through thick and thin: that Wolf Blitzer is an oblivious fucking asshole.

DUMBASS:

Interesting! Thanks for that. Hmmm....Seems like Wikipedia should do something about him now, seeing as how they're getting bad press. I mean, they've been criticized repeatedly for being hostile to women, but this latest news story is very specific. If this one guy is to blame, Wikipedia can probably do something.

This is a reflection of the 'male-as-default' problem we have. Males are the regular humans, and females are something else - a special interest. We see it everywhere. Biology text books, instruction images, wikipedia lists etc. etc.

I could, but it isn't something that I'm required to do to criticize an institution. I'm also capable of founding my own religion, but I'm not required to do that, either.

"never to be peen again."

Fair enough. In my initial comment, I was referring to editing. There aren't any crowdsourced sites I'm fond of at the moment, so that will need to wait until there's one I think is worth my time.

Ooooh. Interesting. I thought everyone left a trail, but maybe not. I haven't edited Wikipedia a lot for years, so I wouldn't know about any features like that. But you're absolutely right. I checked a few histories and didn't see any evidence of someone erasing them from the American Novelists category. I found at

Perhaps - I couldn't find the removal on any of the listed author's page, just the addition today back to the American Novelists page. I'm not sure paid editors leave tracks the same way volunteers do.

I saw that too. Then I checked out the American women novelists page and that also has the merging nomination tag at the top. So at least that's ok (maybe).

As of a few hours ago, there is now an American men novelists Wikipedia page; unfortunately, it's been nominated for merging with American novelists.

you are assuming that the 'western' way of being feminine is the only way to look. Wearing glasses does not alter her body any more than wearing clothing. The body naturally sheds the dead skin cells so bathing would be considered aiding the body. Who knows, she may grow her nails. Most people have a natural end to

I think you somewhat missed her point. Not to mention, the things you suggest... just... Wow.
