Thanks! I do think really think the cats helped in all those years. They all lived a long time & I wonder if he helped them too along the way. It’s been almost a decade now & I can’t help keeping an eye on the place. After we moved they had raised the rent to $1200 & watching them relist every 6 months & every time

Honestly I do kind of wonder myself at times now that it’s been so long. It’s hard to describe the kind of inertia where you know that this isn’t a right & you should leave but you kind of just get used to it & it becomes normal as odd as that sounds. Like oh yeah that feeling or that person if you saw her in the one b

Okay this is really long but I’m unsure how to shorten it without giving up some details so.

It’s a thing a lot of funeral homes do to either save money and/or was common practice for a long time so some still do it because that’s how they learned it. Cotton is the more common thing used now. It’s used in bodies, including natural deaths, to help keep fluids from leaking and/or to give the body a more

There’s been a bunch of replies already & I’m in the greys so this will probably be buried but I’ve thought about writing this since we moved so here we go.

thatbadadvice.tumblr.com is hilarious. They take letters written to advice columnists & give new sarcastic advice.

I know this is a couple days old but if you can find it at a store near you, Schar brand bread is the closet I've ever found to normal bread. www.schar.com/us

I read that due to the engine fire a lot of the rooms became filled with smoke. They also are kinda cramped so they got very hot & then the toilets started backing up & overflowing, leaving raw sewage coming into the rooms. Most of the people took the mattresses onto the decks & made tents with the sheets because it

I don't understand people at all. My name is Jenna & yet I have people call me Gina all the time. The worst is when you tell someone your name & they continue to mispronounce it. Like you said people are lazy & don't want to have to bother to try to read, say or write more uncommon names correctly.

Joni is my little sister's name! My parents named her after my Great Great Aunt who I've been told used to joke that the singer stole her name. I will say that it would probably be misspelled (even a couple of people thinking it's Toni). She did have one experience where someone thought her name was Johnny, it was at

Hi, are you me? Seriously though this is me. I've even had people accuse me of purposely speaking lower despite talking in my natural tone.

Anecdote time here. My dad's an attorney & some years ago a guy he'd gone to school with was arrested by the feds for growing pot & he called my dad for his phone call. One of his questions was about a group who regularly purchased the pot he grew. That group was from Jefferson County and despite not saying names my

I think the major difference is that women's leg hair especially when it's longer is usually soft whereas male facial hair is scratchy and tends to leave beard burn. At least that's how I am, I know it sounds a bit hypocritical but blame my sensitive skin for both not liking to shave & liking clean shaven partners. I

Oh that just makes this whole thing even worse.

I am so sorry about your daughter. Thank you so much for sharing and for your comment. Also, congratulations and happy tidings for your little boy.

You're welcome. :) Another small tip if you use either Firefox or Chrome & hate this new commenting system on the Gawker sites like most of us go look for the Kotaku Fix add-on. It changes the commenting system back to something readable.

Try frozen yogurt, I'm a diagnosed lactose intolerant & can't handle even the smallest dish of ice cream but don't seem to have a problem with frozen yogurt. Edy's, Ruggles, or TCBY are the best I've found if they have them in your area & taste really similar to ice cream.

Thank you for writing this. It was the first thing that came to mind when I read that.

Seriously? The term monkey has not been used in the past with racist tones in description of white people. It was frequently used in regards to POC & is inherently racist & meant to mean that the person is not only less than a human being but is less than a white person. Either you are young, naive, or simple ignorant
