I wish I'd known about it when it was at a more reasonable level. I'd love to have a story about how I got outbid on the raptor cage from JP, but bidding $100,000 for that story is a little out of my price range.

There's not much I can disagree with in your first 4 paragraphs. Of course Steve didn't envision, design, and produce Apple's products all on his own. He was a visionary, and he surrounded himself with smart, talented people who could design and produce the things he dreamt.
I can tell you this, the average consumer is an idiot. Most people just believe whatever is told to them without ever bothering to check or verify that it's right. We all do it, myself included, but it's very easy to change someone's mind with a little showmanship and charisma. Why? Because people crave confirmation…
The same could be said for competitors, like Microsoft and Google
Steve was always such a wonderful showman. Even if you didn't want the product he was describing, you still kinda did. The way he'd describe things sounds silly or even childish (Why should I buy this Mac, sir? Well, it's inanely great... I didn't know that, give me four!), but he captivated your attention and you…
Just make sure he isn't your favorite character. Spoiler alert: he dies.
I guess the fact that "monkey" was on the list surprised me most. And that at 17 it somehow is 11 places below last year.
Now just don't ride it up any cliffs, Chris!
No offence taken.
There's also pretty much no reason to have a gun on a plane. You're packed in a ricochet tube full of innocent people; even if there's someone trying to take over the plane, firing the weapon is more likely to harm someone not involved.
Here in the good ol' USA, you can never tell because that's how whacked out people are with gun rights. It wouldn't shock me at all either way.
Damn... best point someone has made so far. I have nothing.
Part of responsible gun ownership is not trying to take it on a plane.
The link to the WWII era inert bazooka round is broken. I think this is what you were going for.
I want to like it, but I can't like a reference if you don't know where the reference is from. You're killing me, Smalls!
I have to agree. I remember how fast respringing was versus rebooting from back when I used to jailbreak. The first time it happened in iOS 7 I thought it had to be a respring because it was way too fast for a reboot.
50 pounds is probably a bit of an exaggeration. It'd be interesting to find out how much I actually drink, but I can assure you it's way above half a pound.
Merrylander here. Not exactly "Deep South," but I do love me some sweet tea. I try not to drink soda, so that gives me my sweet fix instead. Hot tea is great too though. When you have a sore throat nothing, and I mean nothing, makes it feel better faster than some tea with honey. Then I'll follow up with cough drops…
"Idiot is the lazy man's insult."
I didn't expect the USA to be high on this list, but I expected more than half a pound a person. Heck, I know at that rate I probably drink enough for 100 people a year.
