Google just needs to market it better once it hits mass market. Look at the crap boxes Monster wanted people to put on their head, but they had Dr. Dre and his 7,000 closest celebrity friends wear them and now you can't walk 10 feet without running into a pair of Beats.

They charge different rates and offer different plans (pay X fee a month to get a lower per-swipe rate). You also don't have to deal with Paypal's (supposedly) atrocious payee policies and customer care.
