Why is that anyones problem but your own? Every driver I know is part time, they have a full time or another part time job, retired or a homemaker with extra time.

Exposure: Each taxi driver has to handle your card and swipe it. Uber handles the transaction outside of the driver. Consistency: Do a search on ‘Taxis:My credit card machine is broken”. Expectation of ease of transaction is always consistent with Uber.

Zero bad experiences with Uber, every car is clean, every driver respectable with interesting conversation.
