The DVD of "Beast from 20,000 Fathoms" had an interview with the two of them about their friendship on it and it was about the most adorable thing I've ever seen. It was carried over to the new blu-ray as well.

That gyaos fight scene in 3 and the Iris shots under that huge reflective roof are still the best in any of those Japanese flicks, IMO. I love that trilogy. 2 is the most entertaining, but 3 is the most ambitious. They're easily better than any of the Godzilla films since Godzilla Vs Mothra 64.
