I find playing it to be a very cozy experience, but that has nothing to do with critical thinking.

I came to love Zari 2.0 as well, but Zari Prime would be the one on my all-time team lineup and character ranking. She was a cool third-wave feminist superhero that even her other self found intimidatingly awesome and difficult to live up to!
Justice for Zari 1.0!
Heck yeah. I like the first one, but the sequel just takes the premise of growing-shrinking and goes nuts with it. And the story doesn’t force a “the world as we know it will go arse over teakettle” aspect; it’s just about finding Janet.
Superior sequel IMO.
I’m in. The Ant-Man movies have been consistently entertaining.
So many more recent ones (i.e. the last fifteen years) are just gross and unsettling. Somewhere along the line, they decided “Halloween” simply means “violence and gore”, giving us idiocy like the Mr and Mrs Smith parody.
Clown without Pity should be higher purely for the Homer line “Marge, the dolls trying to kill me and the toaster’s been laughing at me”.
I’m still consistently entertained by it, it still pleasantly surprises me and I still make a point of trying to catch it when it airs (mostly because it doesn’t run on any Canadian networks).
They scaled “Bob’s Burgers” coverage back to “the occasional drop-in” several seasons ago. Seems like they’ve also scaled back the review itself to “show recap with letter grade” but at this point in the show’s existence there isn’t much to actually critique, at least for me. It still does what it does pretty…
I thought this was already known? Guess it was unofficial. But Jesse Martin is already not coming back as a regular. As this is the last Arrowverse show, hope they can do some kind of wrap-up, at least bringing the Legends back for an ep.
I know I’m in the minority as a liker of Temple of Doom, but I’ve never heard anything resembling the criticism that movie gets directed at Last Crusade. That was a real head-shake line for me too.
People don’t like Last Crusade?! It may not be Raiders, but it’s leagues better than Temple of Doom and Crystal Skull.
In my opinion TV has so far peaked with Legion season 2 or maybe the third season of Twin Peaks.
There’s still a whole new (last) season after the two final episodes.
Bryant’s rare in that she is equally good playing the weird center of a sketch or a person reacting to what’s going on. She could basically be thrown into any sketch and it would be better. Her role in “Meet Your Second Wife,” for example, is smaller than almost everyone else’s, but she really stands out:
If they add ONE MORE PERSON, even one, it’ll be a giant mistake. JAJ/Villasenor/Fineman/Sherman/Day alone is almost a cast worth of talent.
Lyonne looked fantastic, came straight out of the Phantom Zone with that outfit, and contoured like a knife.
looks fun!
