It makes sense that the Danvers sisters moment was a priority but it would have been nice if they could have included Kara with the group too. Especially since its the mid-season finale and the show won’t be back for a while.

The problem with that scene is that those were not short shorts at all. They were slightly above the knee. With what Nate’s said you’d think he was wearing the short shorts from the show’s Star Trek parody.

Temple of Doom isn’t my favorite of the Indiana Jones movies but I still enjoy it.

I hope Helen Slater will get to return for the final season too. It would be a shame if this were the one season where she didn’t appear.

Next weeks episode will be the final episode that airs before the cast finishes filming the show. They won’t be finished filming until early August.

It is too bad we won’t see a crossover when Supergirl is doing time travel for a couple of episodes and LOT is doing aliens for the season.

Alex and Sara were a fun team in the Crisis on Earth-x crossover. It will never happen but I would love to see Alex guest star on Legends of Tomorrow.

I loved that they referenced the DEO and Alex Danvers. The phone ringing under the DEO ruins made me laugh.

I understand the desire for LGBT representation and I think there should be more of it in mainstream blockbuster. I would have no problem with Bucky being gay or bi if they want to go in that direction. However, I’ve seen movies from the Hays Code era that have had stronger hints that a character isn’t straight than

Caity Lotz has the right kind of charisma to be the lead of a show like this. She can do comedy, action and has really grown as a dramatic actress.

Melissa Benoist’s maternity leave and Chyler Leigh directing an episode meant they both had to miss an episode or two. Having Nia and Brainy travel back in time was a good way to still include the characters of Kara and Alex in the episodes and bring back Cat Grant one final time.

Yes I think this is the first episode of the series that Melissa Benoist did not appear in. If Chyler Leigh doesn’t appear in the next episode I think it will be the first episode she’s missed since season one. Actually if none of the present day characters appear next week then Jesse Rath will be the only main cast

I’d love to see Nia and Brainy on Legends of Tomorrow or on a spinoff. I’m generally not fond of prequel series and the limitations that come with them so I would prefer to see that over young Kara and Alex getting a spinoff.

“But they’re also able to bring real dramatic weight to Brainy and Nia’s respective arcs too. The confidence of this episode stems directly from their great central performances. And if this doesn’t inspire The CW to give them their own spinoff series, I hope they at least get to become players on Legends of Tomorrow a

I agree that it isn’t necessarily because of Covid rules. Nia, Andrea, William and Kelly weren’t in some episodes last year too.

I know they might want to explain why Kara won’t be showing up in the bigger crossovers but I don’t want an ending where she stops being a superhero. I don’t want Alex to stop being a hero either. She doesn’t need to become a soccer mom in the suburbs just because she wants kids.

I’m not into Alex and Kelly as a couple (though I love Alex) but the actresses both did a good job with that last scene. It’s nice to see a major development in their relationship actually happen on screen and not feel rushed

I get that they’re trying to fix this, but it’s super weird that Lena was separated from the Superteam after last week. Lena needed someone trustworthy to talk about the Lex drama with. The superteam needed a freaking tech genius. Guys, hello?”

I think this episode needed more of Alex and the Superfriends and less Lex.

Despite her terrible eye makeup I don’t have a problem with Alex as a superhero. Alex is a lot more qualified to be a superhero than James was when he became Guardian. She will be probably working with the team more than he did his first season as Guardian too.
