I don’t really think Alex is a a sue. she’s always had flaws. 

I’d be fine with it. I don’t think they have a huge fanbase as a couple. It’s kinda sad that this is the romance Alex is likely gonna end up in. It feels like she’s settling.

That’s too bad. Slappy was one of the best characters.

I hope Zari 1.0 can pop up on occasion too and maybe eventually get out of the totem without killing Behrad before the show is over. I love Zari 2.0 but Zari 1.0 is my favorite character outside of the remaining original cast. 

Supergirl does deserve the be last. It was kind of a mess this season, the new characters weren’t compelling and its struggled to balance its plots and increasingly bloated cast.

The American network tv model favors more episodes. Very short seasons can be less profitable for them.

I suppose so but at this point I feel that if Kara’s boss isn’t going to be Lena or James then they should just be a re-occurring character who doesn’t take up too much space.  

“The Crisis also killed Andrea’s storyline because like Leviathan they basically had to retell it. But in her case they just shoved her off to the side and her story in the back half never went anywhere. Like what even happened after Lena talked her down?

“I wonder if the plan is to keep Andrea around next season or if she’ll be carted off to Metropolis like Sam. I presume William was designed to be a more long-term love interest, but who knows.”

I like Alex’s costume and hood but the eye makeup is weird. It’s odd that Kelly specifically mentioned a mask and then Alex doesn’t actually wear one. I also think a domino mask would work a lot better. 

“It looked like Alex’s action scenes were maybe some of the scenes that got cut short during filming. Also maybe Kara in the apartment early in the episode- she’s alone in frame A LOT after Alex&Co. turn up.”

They are being very optimistic. I think there is a good chance most their show’s seasons end up shortened. 

Supergirl and Legends of Tomorrow will premiere mid-season. Which is probably spring in this case. Hopefully March but it could be later.

It has been nice to see Chyler Leigh get more to do the past few episodes. I also like to see Alex get stories that aren’t about babies and romance. Especially since her current romance is so unconvincing. And the “Alex wants kids” story has never fit the show and feels limiting.

That was an anti-climatic ending to the Jeremiah story. The Jeremiah and Cadmus storyline is one of the show’s biggest missed opportunities. It did give us Exodus, which is one of my favorite episodes, but it could have provided a good arc for Alex yet the show just dropped it. They could have at least done an arc…

The gun seems cool. I hope Alex still has her super suit. Winn made if for her so it should belong to her not the DEO. If not then she should get a new suit. I hope she finally gets a code name too.
