He could be worse as a character and love interest but I’d still prefer he leave. There’s just too many characters and he feels like the one who should get cut. The show doesn’t need three reporters. Maybe Kara can date casually sometimes. That could be fun. She doesn’t have to be a nun but doesn’t have to settle down

It’s too bad Alex’s possible arc has arrived much too late in the season with only 6 episodes left after this one. It was nice seeing her and J’onn work together though. And the new fun could be cool. Though I don’t buy that the DEO gun would be her only one.

I actually like Temple of Doom despite its flaws but it does not have as many memorable shots as Raiders.

I actually thought Kara and Mon-el had good chemistry but the writing was bad and made them sometimes hard to root for. William and Kara have terrible chemistry though. As do Alex and Kelly. It’s hard to believe they did a chemistry test with either of those pairings.

It is a questionable justification. What is the point of allowing tv-14/pg-13 content and having a kids filter if the new shows all have to appropriate for young kids? Its starting to seem like all the new content is just going to be tv-pg with the possible exception of some Marvel stuff and probably only because of

Alex and J’onn are the remaining supporting characters from season one. I wish they were given more to do this episode but it doesn’t surprise me with the way Alex has been treated this season. I guess J’onn was treated better in the first half but he doesn’t have that much to do lately either.

It’s sad how Alex used to be almost the secondary lead of the show and now its like the writers aren’t even trying to do anything interesting with her. I think we should have gotten more of her and J’onn for the 100th episode. They’ve been here since the beginning and while the ending scene was nice it wasn’t quite eno

Kara is still working for or with the DEO but I suspect she won’t be by the end of the season.

If Alex is leaving the DEO permanently then it probably won’t last much longer or it will be an enemy of team Supergirl. I wish they showed more of Alex actually being a leader before she left. What is Alex’s job at the Tower? Private investigator? If team Supergirl completely cuts ties with the DEO/government won’t

It took me longer then it should’ve to figure out that it was supposed to be a moment of UST.

Yeah I really couldn’t care less about Andrea. I hope she’s not sticking around for next season.

Yeah that doesn’t sit right with me. Winn’s father has been way too despicable and abusive to deserve that.

Mad Max tends to be the main POV character and gets more screen time than Benoit does in Knives Out.

Yeah as Lena has gotten more story/screentime Alex has become less important. The cast getting more bloated with each season is also a big reason for that. I hope once this big Lena story is over the show can focus on Alex and the originals more because Supergirl probably doesn’t have more than 1 or 2 seasons left.

I do love that the tower has its own balcony of deep thoughts. It’s a pretty cool new hangout. Though I do worry that this will be a bad thing for Alex in the long-term if it replaces the DEO. The DEO helps keep Alex relevant when she has no story. And she doesn’t have any story this season.

This show is more miss then hit with its romances. So far Kara/William and Alex/Kelly feel blander and lazier in execution then their previous romances. There just making a bare minimum effort with Alex and Kelly at this point. I guess Kara needs a romance but isn’t really room for it with the cast getting so big and

Lex certainly is a much better character then Haley. But I’m annoyed that once again Alex isn’t really the leader of the DEO.

They really don’t seem to know what to do with Nia. Supergirl has a problem with having more main cast then it can handle. Every time someone leaves they add another. And since season 3 the main villain/antagonists of the season get a lot of screentime. Some characters always feel underserved as a result.

I can certainly buy that the reset somehow resulted in some extra orphaned doppelgängers running about, but it’s strange that this episode keeps stating that the multiverse no longer exists when we were explicitly told that it does.”

I think the new earth is mostly a combination of elements of the paragons earths. Maybe Alex is supposed to be a combination of both versions but the earth-38 personality and life is pretty much dominant. Or maybe where doppelgangers exist only one version of that characters survives? .It is a bit confusing.
