You can’t keep a giant herd animal that huge and that complex safely and humanely in a tiny, unprivate tank. It’s just not possible. Of course they are going to die early. Of course they are going to suffer from bacterial and fungal infections. Just keeping the water fresh and clean is quite beyond the capacity…

I was neutral on Taylor Swift prior to this lawsuit. I now have a newfound respect for her. She acknowledges she has the privilege and bank account to fight. Her $1 settlement is an enormous win for all of us women who have been sexually assaulted (which sadly, is most women).

I’d also think - after the hair has become matted - it becomes one of the factors that can fuel and help maintain the depression.
