Cryer as Lex may get me to try Supergirl again.

This is about dealing with letting go. And facing the life after.

One nice touch I noticed near the end is when they show Earth-96 (Routh) Superman again, he’s got the yellow back in his costume, implying his Lois (and other friends) didn’t die in his new reality. He got a happy ending.  :)

Because they thought it would be a fun cameo, and Miller was game to do it. Not everything needs to have a significant meaning. Sometimes it’s okay to just to be fun.

I have to admit, Miller’s appearance brought about the first of many screams for me tonight. They even liked each other’s suits! I can’t disagree strenuously enough with Kate’s lukewarm review.

I saw this when it was first released as a kid and I cannot overstate how much impact it had. The combination of the astonishing special effects, the great photography in live shots, and the streamlined plot were astounding.

Clerks and the internet. I loved the movies as a kid when they first came out. But as the 80s and 90s went along, they were kind of put on the backburner of pop culture interests. This is the most I've laughed at a Modern Family episode in a while, maybe because it stars Stephen Merchant or perchance it could be because of Stephen Merchant but we'll never know.

As for the weird backstories of all the cats with weird names who don’t get songs--I have a friend who was in several national tours of the show in the 90s.  He says that the chorus cats were actually given notes with extensive backstories about how all of the cats interrelated, which read as some weird soap opera

Fun fact: Clancy Brown was also the voice of a rival Mandalorian rival of Jango Fett in Star Wars: Bounty Hunter. Pretty neat that he pops up whenever Star Wars
