I’m excited to see you tackle this Kevin! I’m not the best home cook, and my time working in restaurants ended in college, but I’ve loved Bourdain ever since I randomly picked up that issue of The New Yorker at a newsstand in 1999 that the first article that led to KITCHEN CONFIDENTIAL was in. I may still have it

It’s the right call and I’m glad to see it. That’s it.

It better not be called ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST.

Steve Martin “sneaking up” on David Spade doing “Hollywood Minute” and scaring Spade into leaving the set, taking over, and ripping him a new one also was good and worked because Martin is pretty much perfect when he’s on SNL and Spade is great at playing an obnoxious asshole who’s really a coward when faced with

When I read SEMI-TOUGH as a senior in high school in 1995 just finishing football season, I got all mad I couldn’t use some of the phrases in it in the locker room now that the season was over. Because for the most part, the locker room was the only place you could use it without someone being shocked and/or

Yup. They needed to add another older member for Clint to interact with on the “You kids with your...” side. Tigra would’ve been perfect after they resolved her issues in the initial story in the first few issues. She’s an original Whacko and an underused, outstanding character, woman, and Avenger. They could have

That’s a great performance in an underrated movie. Don’t forget, Thor/Chris Hemsworth is his rival as James Hunt. I don’t care at all about any kind of car racing, but I loved that movie.

Overall, I really enjoyed ULTRON. It had tons of heroes fighting tons of robots in a way that mattered and had real stakes, and it also showed them trying to save as many civilians as possible. Tom addressed this well in his piece. When people complain about this movie being overloaded, I argue that that’s essentially

I have never read any Wallace, but I loved this movie. I think I want to own a copy to rewatch it. Both performances, and everything in it, work on so many ways. Its a movie about writers, about being “famous”, about entertainment, and a road-trip/friendship movie all together and it blends all this together so

Lets try not to think about those things happening. They’ve seemingly turned around, and I am desperate enough after being a lifelong born & raised in St. Louis, watching themselves punch each other in the dicks, Blues fan used to crushing disappointment that they can somehow make this a successful season. I won’t go

Yes, there’s a classic old steakhouse with a big neon sign from the 50's or whatever where I live too, and I’ve been once for lunch. It may be better too.

This is really informative and I appreciate it. I don’t have any trips planned there soon. But if I have to go there for something, I’ll go with this information. Thank You.

I just went to the Harry and Izzy’s website and didn’t see a fish sandwich on the lunch or dinner menu. Maybe they don’t serve it? The shrimp

I took a quick glance at their menu, and wow, it does seem pricey, but I rarely go to steakhouses with my budget, so that was maybe part of it.

If all I have to do is add extra horseradish to some cocktail sauce to make it, I may try to do that at home.  Thanks for the invitation though. Its appreciated. :-)

Great set of answers on these new 11 Questions (I haven’t seen it in a long time any maybe I forgot the questions).

I would love to spend time talking theatre, acting, and Shakespeare with Timothy Dalton. That’s awesome.

In N Out’s fries are bad. Burgers, are good, not as great as Culver’s or even, to me, Original

I saw Ray Lampe, Dr. BBQ, select this as his favorite Hot & Spicy Food on that episode of BEST THING I EVER ATE and it looked terrifying and delicious as I love horseradish. Going to St. Elmo’s is the one reason I have for wanting to visit Indianapolis.

I very much enjoy the Sweet-Tarts Jelly Hearts. Available ONLY during Valentines Season. The Spree candy hearts are great too. I don’t know if they’re flavored differently, they’re red and white and pink, but I think they’re both delicious.

No one I know. I hated that movie.

Without a doubt, this is the greatest Reddit AMA of all time.

COOKIE!

Don’t forget about 2004 with THE INCREDIBLES, SPIDER-MAN 2, and HELLBOY. I’m not saying its the best, but it should be kept in mind with these other years people are listing as, at least, a strong year.
