Totally agree with you, but honestly the most trouble I’ve had with United has been in/out of Denver or Vail, and Newark. Ohare has been reasonably smooth sailing... and the one time we did have a crazy delay I talked my way into the United Lounge for free :)

My brother got married in November. They just took their official Hmoon last month, but on a few small weekend trips ( for example, visiting me in Chicago) they continually told hotels and such they were on their honeymoon. They got so much free shit!

I GAINED weight when I started co-habitating because I was cooking full meals every day. No more cereal for dinner! ...which has significantly fewer calories than the fajitas and elotes I just made.

The best is when they DO have kids meals, but only the amount ordered. So when the 9 year old whose parents thought they’d eat the adult meal sees the chicken tenders, they throw a goddamn tantrum. The BOH gets “Can’t you just make more?”. No. This is not a restaurant. We literally do not have extra.

Question: what’s the cut off for “kid”? Graduated high school? 21+? High school and older? In my experience, high school kids can be just as bored and obnoxious as a toddler.

THIS. Kids don’t even want to be there. They are bored and tired and hate everything, which makes their parents hate everything.

This really makes me think of Whiplash, which I watched last night. That movie stressed me out a LOT (though I did like it overall). It’s amazing what people can get away with, and I’m glad something happened. I wonder how many of her students are now in therapy because of her.
