I can't speak to XIV, as I only got about halfway through leveling one job so I didn't get much storyline, but XI definitely had storylines that were just as good as any other single player RPG I would say.

I've yet to watch Macross 7 so it was a pain in the ass to try and find out what that song was (Burning Fire btw). I really need to watch that anime.

I think it's funny when people who aren't even 6' are considered tall (by other, shorter people). At 5'11" everyone who always made jokes about your height are complete imbeciles.
