They didn't describe it correctly. The lid folds, not the screen. The bottom of the screen separates from the lid and then folds into a Z shape before laying down flat against the keyboard.

Will these be the same reminders, or sync'd with Google Now's reminders? Because that would be killer.

I use the Karma Hotspot most of the time, but the Wifi hotspot on my phone is there when I need it (it's not a carrier condoned hotspot, it's a root feature). I have limited data and limited coverage. The Karma uses WiMax on the Clear network and the phone uses LTE on AT&T.

I thought PDAnet needed to plug into USB? I didn't know it did WiFi Hotspot. Do you have to configure it specially?
