I’d say Nintendo is more controlling than greedy. They’ll happily leave a ton of money on the table if they think they’d have to ease their iron grip on one of their IPs.

I’m sorry, but Oz is a clear number 10, behind “getting hit by a bus”.

Yeah, Rodgers in second place?!? No no no. He was OK but second tier.

I don’t get the love for Rodgers at all. Seems nice, but really boring. Not sure Bialik would be a *bad* choice, but she strikes me as low key smarmy.

Wallace Shawn would like a word.

Mayim “I actually have a PhD, have I told you about it?” Bialik belongs second to last, only above Dr. Oz. She’s an anti-vax sympathizer who is currently doing commercials for some brain health supplement snake oil too.

Yeah, nothing against Chrono Cross (or Radical Dreamers which came first), but neither one should have been connected to Chrono Trigger.

The thing that really bothers me about it, though, is they keep turning to him to write new Chrono Trigger lore, and every time it’s just something to try and force the original game to line up more with Chrono Cross.

“The program in wfsdrv is an anti-cheat kernel driver”

A lot of UK employees talking crap about a branch they probably have no knowledge of is not impressive...

It’s rare that I read a comment that sounds so very much like a PR release.

This type of storm happened 10 years ago. Similar things happened, although not on the same scale, and they were warned that not winterizing their power plants would cause this to happen. And they did jack fucking shit about it. each of the heads of the power companies that refused service should be fired, fined

I’d say all of those are fair except lionhead and Bungie,

The Talisman is interesting because it’s a blend of King and Straub’s styles (they would imitate each other in order to throw off readers trying to figure out who’d written which chapters), and also because it’s a dry run for the multiversal concepts King would explore in the later Dark Tower books. In fact, Black

and the Lord Jesus spoke: “ye, if thou hast a rockin bod, make yon ducats on the site only for fans, my child! dolla, dolla bills, ye all!

only if there are combustible lemons.

Now you’ve accidentally got into the fight for right to repair legislation.

It really is a great comparison. Let’s take your Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, and Manhattan example, which you say would be anti-competitive. At what point would you say it’s NOT anti-competitive? If it were only in Bronx, Brooklyn, and Queen? Maybe just Bronx and Brooklyn? I assume at least if it were just the Bronx

If you have already spent $1000 on an iPhone it’s difficult if not impossible to justify having that person spend another $600 to get an android phone of similar spec because Apple has decided you are not allowed to access certain products they did not produce.

People keep missing how much that last sentence is the entire problem. Epic doesn’t make phones, Epic doesn’t sell phones. It should not be their job to convince you to buy a different one. Would you tell Firestone to try to make all their customers buy Chevy?
