So they need to take their time developing a great movie that introduces those great characters. I really think we can expand Star Wars into a annual release setup, but they need to start telling some new stories and have faith that people will like these new stories without tethering them to the original movies.

Solo was definitely released too soon after Last Jedi, but I still liked it. Mostly because it started to feel like it seemed like it was about to go in a Rebels-ey direction with Maul’s appearance. Would have loved a Lando followup that continues the threads in Solo.
