I’m having trouble reconciling the ‘Meryl applauding feminist Patricia’ with the ‘Meryl knew zilch but boo Weinstein’.

It was a long, difficult decision to re-home my cat. Whatever judgement comes will come.

Oy. My Bengal was an adorable stray kitten that wandered up, and had apparently been pulled from his mom far too early. That cat was psychotic. His near-feral behavior got worse when my marriage was ending, and I placed him with a rehab/rescue.

I don’t fully agree that she was insulated. Maybe the behavior didn’t affect her personally, so it didn’t click, but 5 of her movies were through Miramax.

That’s why Meryl Streep’s ‘I had no idea’ statement gave me pause. I know that there is a massive, horrible power imbalance in the industry. But I’ve heard it, you’ve heard it, and Rose McGowan and Asia Argento (among others) have been saying it loudly for years.

Ha! I’ve had and loved several awesome cats. Winston the blue was accepting of costumes. Lou the Bengal, well, I still have scars.
