Collecting takes a long time and is tediously boring for most people. You get a faster pay out with Hunting. Pair it with Moonshining and doing the short deliveries you can make $700 ($500 Trade/$200 Moonshiner) in 30-40 minutes. Which is ideal for someone only playing a few hours here and there.
