As another example awhile back there were a few reported cases of a child saving someone from choking after learning the Heimlich maneuver from Mrs. Doubtfire.

Majority of these stars do not create their dances. Choreographers and dancers do. Often borrowing moves from pre-existing dances. They are who should get paid if anyone.

Certainly all artists, whatever their ethnicity, are due credit for the work the work they’ve created.

Interesting because most of these dances were not created by the people who made them popular. Some are variations of other dances, some borrow heavily from pre-existing dancing, and others are flat out created by ... Ah, wait for it ... Dancers & Choreographers.
