God Emperor is my favourite of all of the books. I know that I am alone in this and I doubt we will ever get an adaptation thereof...which is likely for the best. Ain’t nobody gunna love it even if Villeneuve were to do it well.

I have been saying for sometime that the people who only know DUNE from the adaptations—especially those only know of Villeneuve’s—pushing for Dune: Messiah are really, really not going to like it. Just as the original fanbase did when the novel came out in 1969.
