If they are planned for properly from the beginning, accessibility features would not be a major issue to implement at all. There are accessibility standards for apps, websites and other digital media and any good designer will plan for them to be present. Video games should be the same.

Most accessibility options are a very, very tiny cost, and take very little dev time.

Its east to implement filters but its meaningless unless high contrast and colour swap is integrated into the palette design process by the artists from the start else you just end up with something with trippy colours or still has contrast issues even with a filter.

Some (not ALL) of the features that were discussed in the article are pretty easy. A lot of them are values that already exist in the code, but there simply isn’t anywhere in the code or the UI to change them.

Other things like magnification, motion blue, and text-to-speech are much harder to program in.

I think you could, but it would probably get a lot less attention than this. The joke with Graggle is how obviously fake and out of place he is.

Maybe the joke is just how obviously Graggle is suddenly present in family scenes and iconic frames, but it seems like you could fairly easily fake a background character and cause a lot more speculation over whether they’re real or not.
