Tbh I'm kind of waiting for them to be like "Henry, we have something to tell you" and he's like "oh, yeah, you're Russian spies, I've known that since I was eight years old," and then he just goes back to playing video games.

So forgive me if I'm behind, but have we talked yet about how absurdly artificial the whole "oh btw Henry is a genius now and wants to write himself off the show by going away to a special school" thing is?

Do you know for sure that he's not involved? Legit curious.

Certainly. There are a lot of composers whose style you can sort of fudge, even if what you're going to get isn't quite as good. There are enough people out there aping John Williams and Hans Zimmer that you can get away with that. But Vangelis is entirely entirely unique.

So, they are going to rehire a Vangelis for the soundtrack, right? Because if just would not be Blade Runner without him

Not that it would have made everything better, but if Blackbolt and Gorgon at least had like, diadems that paid homage to their usual headgear, I feel like it would have been a significant improvement that inspired more confidence. The relative shortness of Medusa's hair is also dispiriting

See, my guess would be that the smile thing among Americans would have more to do with rise of service work and consumer culture which America has always been the vanguard of.

Okay, but to what degree does this also apply to Canadians? Asking for a friend.

Episode 10 - Hot Archie is Hot Again, All is Right With The World

lol this is a really bad take.

Maybe because it was obviously filmed on a cold, overcast day and shirtless construction work might've been too gratuitous under those conditions, even for the CW

I love that the tiger lunged at like, everyone that was Negan-adjacent, but never at Negan himself. I like to imagine that this means the tiger is like, blind in one eye and has problems with depth perception. Ezekiel's standing off to the side yelling "NO, SHIVA, TO YOUR LEFT, YOUR LEFT! NO, YOUR OTHER LEFT!"

Right? This is the CW. Don't they have, like, shirtless quotas per episode? Surely they could have found a reason for Moose or Reggie or Kevin Keller to hang out in a locker room or beside a swimming pool.

Two episodes in a row with the male cast keeping their shirts on. The River is Dry.

Yeah I was kind of hoping/assuming that the removal of the Shadow King would fracture David's psyche, giving us the multiple personalities of the comic. Revealing that the Shadow King was actually holding him together would've/could've been interesting

I get the impression that Plaza/Clement and their respective characters could easily disappear from the show for a season or two as they focus on other stories. Given that Clement is billed as a guest star, it might even be likely. Would be a shame to lose Plaza permanently though

I admire how much work you put into this

Anythings possible, but that seems like something that would require an awful lot of exposition in film, and I think it's unlikely that Disney would draw an important element of their new trilogy from a comparatively small aspect of the cartoon.

Yeah, I think he's going to be some kind of pre-Sith dark force user. Alt-Sith? lol. Regardless they seem to want to explore the history of the force in some way. I don't think it's a good idea, but we'll see how it plays out.

If this Aftermath trilogy is to be believed, they're setting Snoke up to be some kind of ancient Dark Side force used from outside the galaxy. That…could be interesting, I guess. Or it could really suck, depending how they pay it.
