An X5M is a $320,000 car in Vietnam. This is a bargain in comparison.

This is worth $2500 most. The seller should sell the box separate, because that’s probably half the value of the car.
Vietnam has sales taxes on import luxury vehicles and large displacement enginesthat can approach 200% total... and 20% annual registration fee. A $75k X5 with the V8 would cost close to $215k in Vietnam, before options. Fully loaded, closer to $300k.
Yeah exactly. Like I said, that fact (and the factor of convenience) are worth a couple thousand to some people and that should factor into the math you do on buying out the lease or buying a comparable used car.
For a clean (at least it can easily be reverted to stock) Si of this generation, with recent maintenance, I’ll say Nice Price!
They basically did, and it’s called the M2. They drive very similarly. You can make a new chassis as much fun as an older one, but execution is key.
To not have to set foot in a Nissan dealership is a big plus in the Supra’s book. And the fact that Toyota (and BMW) will be around for a long time. Can’t guarantee the same thing for Nissan.
The engineer’s job title was “Safety Driver”, to ensure a prototype product doesn’t kill anyone. She did not do that. They didn’t hire a Joe Schmoe Uber driver for the job, because it required greater skill and intelligence to know that the car is making a mistake, intervene, and log the incident to be addressed.
Didn’t a court JUST decide that the self-driving Uber’s “Safety Driver” was at fault, because she was distracted by her phone?
Second Gear: Lambastes Didi for trying to make EV ride sharing a thing
It’s a fine car. All the car that 98% of the population needs for 98% of the time. And with the exception of the last generation, it’s always been one of the better looking or more interesting generic compact CUVs. The first gen had a removable top, the second and third had a punchy V6 and a rear tire carrier, the new…
I’m also the same way. Leases don’t make sense to me. The only way I would consider a lease is if I had the disposable income to get a Giulia Quadrifoglio or Range Rover.
As soon as I read this I attempted to do the same. This is the first thing I saw when I hit the road. 4 right next to each other. All from different generations.
If you’re worried about “leaving money on the table” because you’re under mileage, that’s not a factor. You have no equity in a lease. In fact, you will pay MORE for the buyout at 24k miles, than if you drove all 36k miles allotted (you’re essentially buying a used car with 24k miles instead of 36k).
200k is about the average mileage for old Land Cruisers today. That wouldn't scare me. But a 200k mile Cobalt? Not even for free.
$2100 for an Fj60 Land Cruiser is only possible if it has some serious frame rust. Running or not, they fetch more money than that. But Rust makes them basically valueless.
I like the design of the new site. It’s the horribly functionality that irritates me. It’s damn near impossible to read and post comments on the mobile version. And only the first 3 pics of an article load on mobile (yet every ad loads fine!)
This Z is what I hoped the Supra would be. Even down to the manual, engine (assuming this is a 400 HP version from the Q50 Red Sport) and styling.
I wanted to vote Nice Price, but I got Kinja’d and that somehow voted for No Dice. I like the new site design, but it’s basically unusable on mobile.
I doubt that it does pass, tbh. I think the idea of accessible emojis is brand new, so I imagine a lot of old emojis will need to be reworked.
