Stop acting like abortion is the issue. It’s a treatment of a symptom of the issue.

Unemployed man in Manhattan buys a$50k Jeep pickup for his startup? That is just so goddam stupid. A $7k used Odyssey would have been an infinitely better choice for a catering company. Plus you can live in it once you can’t afford your $6k a month apartment and $500 a month parking spot.

They “kinda” made the track look like a character line. But the issue is structural. If they wanted the track hidden beneath the window, they’d have to make a much lower window, which would make it look more like a van again.

I’ve done all of those with an old BMW sedan.

Yeah I didn’t understand your proximity key take back then, and I definitely don’t now. I have a few cars, one with a switchblade traditional key, one with a proximity key. Once I got used to a proximity key, the physical key annoys me to no end.

You can get a Chevy Spark for about $730 LESS than the Mirage, also with a manual. It’s not a horrible car either.

The cheapest Mirage is actually about $750 more expensive than the infinitely better Chevy Spark, after delivery fees. Cheapest car in America was the only thing Mitsubishi had going for it, but not anymore.

Yeah I noticed this phenomenon too. I’ve driven the Subaru CVT and it’s not a deal-breaker for me (if I needed an automatic car)... But the Nissan CVT is absolutely a deal-breaker.

So this is just a midcycle refresh, right? Surely they wouldn't make a new model and keep the same interior. The interior actually is a little less cohesive looking than the old one.

I’m very familiar with the defunding arguments and what they propose diverting funding too. But either way, it’ll mean less money for Police. So there will need to be budget cuts across the board for police, as they divert funding to other resources.

Depends. The XC60s from Avis are midspec models with the premium stereo and seating. The Mustang GTs are the Premium models with all the options, except premium stereo. Some rental companies do splurge on some models.

In the North, it would be a NP, just because it doesn’t have any rust. In the south, its a CP

Erin, I know this is off topic but I wanted to see if this is something Jalopnik could research.

Saw this testing in camouflage on Alligator Alley in Florida. It's much taller and narrower than I expected. Proportionally it reminds me of a G wagen more than a Wrangler

It was ungainly, but I think it’s successor is one of the better looking crossovers.

There are very few production cars sold in the US during my lifetime that I have not seen in person at least once. Bugattis, Paganis, Maserati MC12, Jaguar XJ220, McLaren F1 LM... I’ve seen all of these in person at least once...

It’s much better without it, but it’s still over the top with the angry bullfrog grill on this generation.

I always lusted after a Ford Triton V10... until I drove a Uhaul equipped with one. So underwhelming. It sounds like a wheezy, rough V8.

It’s still bad. I think it’s the shape of the grille that is the problem, more than the size. Even reduced, it’s still an ugly snout.

Shame, the rest of the car is a major design upgrade over the awkward 4 series... except that snout. I cannot get over that nose. Maybe it’ll grow on me, like the E60 did.
