Any hatchback with fold flat rear seats will be perfect. So why not get one with a metric fuck ton of Pizzazz. The Veloster N starts at $27k (but you can find huge deals on Hyundais today) and has 250-275 horsepower, great handling, good fuel economy, excellent reliability and warranty and all the tech gizmos you

My M5 broke down. Called a tow truck to take it to the shop. When I got there the next day the front bumper was all kinds of fucked up. Tow truck company denied any wrongdoing, but my dash cam caught him cutting a curb and ripping off the front bumper cover with a loud snap. Once I showed that they changed their tone.

Am I missing something? This article looks like they always did. Did they abandon the slides how that quickly?

Not sure I agree with the “more is more” approach to steaming. Whenever I open Netflix, I feel inundated with a lot of shit, get distracted trying to find something decent, and eventually give up. Every new show I’ve tried on Netflix on a whim has been mediocre, so I wait until something has a lot of buzz... Like

I agree. I think Audi styling peaked here.

After renting a Tipo, I can understand why it took so long to make that platform race ready. The Tipo is a junk car that handles like a cheese sandwich.

Yeah if it’s running fine, I’d just keep it until I have the budget for something I REALLY want. It sounds like he just wants a no-trouble, A-B transit. Add a new head unit if he wants better tech and keep on driving the Corolla. When he has money saved for something he truly wants to drive, buy it then.

If reliability is your concern, just buy a new corolla. It'll last another 200k before it gives you headaches.

I’m not sure I’m seeing the connection between no cars and preventing exposure. People still need to go places, especially essential workers, and public transit is a big no-no during Coronavirus.

What was incorrect about my post? Two scenarios for someone who buy a car and is saving for retirement:

From a financial perspective, a 70 month loan at 0% is actually a good move, especially in a crisis. By charging under the prime rate, you’re effectively getting a discount on the cost of the car. You can use the money saved each month (versus a short term loan) to pay for more important and immediate expenses like

Plug-in hybrids are not common nor cheap to buy used. They make a lot of sense for most people, so it's a NP for me.

It is a lovely deep blue. It’s my understanding that Minis are one of the few cars that actually has a fairly high take rate.

Here is an interesting investigative article about Liberia’s shady ship registry company that Royal Caribbean is registered to. Fake addresses, warlords, US ownership, Delaware incorporation. It’s a web of lies and tax evasion.

Anyone who says anywhere in Europe or North America has never been to South America or Africa. There is really no contest between the northern Hemisphere and Southern hemisphere.

There was no Focus ST in 2009, at least not in the US. It didn’t arrive until 2013. To refresh your memory, this is the 2009 Focus. No performance model for this generation

I can fit in a BRZ at 6'4 with legroom to spare, but I thought there wasn’t much headroom. If he’s long in the torso it’ll be tight.

I'm 6'4 and I drove a MK5 Rabbit in high school. It had more than enough space for me in headroom and legroom.

Are those rear wheels out of alignment from the factory? Exotic!

It is certainly impressive, but... valuable only to the person who built it.
