My M5 broke down. Called a tow truck to take it to the shop. When I got there the next day the front bumper was all kinds of fucked up. Tow truck company denied any wrongdoing, but my dash cam caught him cutting a curb and ripping off the front bumper cover with a loud snap. Once I showed that they changed their tone. 

Am I missing something? This article looks like they always did. Did they abandon the slides how that quickly?

After renting a Tipo, I can understand why it took so long to make that platform race ready. The Tipo is a junk car that handles like a cheese sandwich.

Yeah if it’s running fine, I’d just keep it until I have the budget for something I REALLY want. It sounds like he just wants a no-trouble, A-B transit. Add a new head unit if he wants better tech and keep on driving the Corolla. When he has money saved for something he truly wants to drive, buy it then.

If reliability is your concern, just buy a new corolla. It'll last another 200k before it gives you headaches.

I'm 6'4 and I drove a MK5 Rabbit in high school. It had more than enough space for me in headroom and legroom.
