If you look at current markets for 100 series Land Cruisers and LXs, yours is probably worth around $20k in good condition. A 2005 Range Rover would be worth about $7k in similar condition and mileage. 

It’s also a cheap and simple Toyota, so 200k miles isn’t a worry. Now 200k on a Dodge Avenger...

Yeah and my mom’s brand new 2012 Grand Cherokee Overland Summit 5.7 was constantly in the shop. The air suspension was repaid a half dozen times by the time she sold it at 30k miles, when the radiant blew and left her stranded. There are anecdotes for every car, good and bad. Anecdotes aren’t data.

Mileage should be tied to brand as well. A 100k mile Lexus or Honda will be a safer bet than an 50k mile Jaguar or Dodge Dart. They will likely be in better condition because they’re constructed better. And consequently they will cost a lot more.

I like it. It seems like a pleasant place to be. I often get chauffeured for work, and 80% of they time I’m sent a Suburban or Navigator for myself. I disagree. A turbo-4 Camaro or Mustang is a genuinely quick and fun to drive car. If you put a 150 hp four cylinder from the Cruze or Focus in there (objectively cheaper to run), you wouldn’t get the level of sales. 

As a common car service user, I prefer the Town Car over the ubiquitous Yukons and Suburbans, simply because there isn’t much legroom in those. Yeah that's how I read it. Knocking Audi down as "near luxury" and boasting Infiniti as an equal. 

I can't think of many cars that would be worse to drive than an overpowered FWD Eclipse Spyder on 20s with a giant wing.
