It hits all her marks for being quiet and under $25k. They come well equipped at that price. But she's giving up a lot of interior space coming from an Accord to any CUV... Especially this

Unfortunately they mostly suck. Why do you need a crossover? Get a Subaru Legacy or Impreza sedan or hatch. They have AWD, are under budget, and are comparable in size to your Accord.
People have been doing this with their heavily used E90s for a decade, usually with stick-on ebay LED strips. The result is the same.
A giant wagon with a small diesel engine, 6 speed manual and up to 11 seats and low range 4WD should be Jalop enough to be given some forgiveness.
It is hideous. But today the majority of cars sold are indistinguishable, anonymous crossover blobs... And I actually kinda admire this car for trying something different, failing miserably, but still green lighting it for production. They were clearly going for "S-class grew a hatch" and got the humpback of Busan…
I thought these were just placeholders for the store to add custom screens. The local chain near me has this model of pump (or something that looks similar) but all the screens are branded. This is probably what happens when the station owner doesn't bother to upload custom screens
My mom, who is 61 - and drives only marginally more aggressive than you’d expect a 61 year old mother to - bought an X5 M50i because she wanted a V8 after coming from a Grand Cherokee 5.7. Never mind the fact that the X5 30i is much faster than the Jeep ever was...
“The new softails come with quiet exhausts, just like all manufacturers, because of EPA db numbers. Know what’s quiet? Electric bikes. Which Harley is making one of.”
My friend was a chemist for the EPA and even during the Obama years, the well paid doctorate-holding scientists at the bureau had to pay 50 cents for a 6oz paper cup of shitty coffee. Because providing free coffee was a luxury and taxpayer money shouldn’t be wasted on that.
It’s misleading to say this starts at $25k. The model you’re driving regularly sells NEW for well under $20k. That’s why its so cheap. You can find deals on these for $14k on the right day. It would never move off the lot at $25k. This is why they’re popular.
Nissan produces the most uninspired, middling, unimpressive, dull vehicles on the market. They cut back their build quality and design to chase a lower price point and higher volume... resulting in some truly garbage vehicles. I’ve driven the new Rogue and Altima and they feel a generation behind the Hondas and…
Everyone knows big trucks are a compensation for a small... Gentleman's vegetable. Apparently everyone is in on the joke except guys who keep buying these damn things.
You wrote this: “The findings reveal the uncomfortable truth that we likely won’t be able to save everything. That means in the coming decades communities will likely be forced to choose whose house is saved, whose is turned over to the rising tides, and who pays for those decisions” - Brian Kahn, June 20th
Should John Delaney be allowed in the next debate? No.
Hi, have you been to Texas? Every shopping mall in Dallas is full of the glitzy F250s driven by housewives and men in ties who live in the suburbs. It’s a status symbol. You only drive and F150 if you can’t afford an f250
Don't think it qualifies as a super car. It's not super expensive, super fast or super rare. I see them a lot, so I think of them more as a 911 and Maserati GT competitor, in which case it does very well as a different and futuristic option. It also sells well and lots like it's from a sci-fi film... But I still wish…
It’s about prioritization. My brother and sister are both married with 2 kids under 3 each. They flew to my parent’s for a reunion. My sister’s family of 4 brought 4 suitcases and a stroller. My brother’s family of 4 brought NINE SUITCASES and a stroller.
Settings are remembered forever. Just because the author won’t use or like a feature doesn’t make it a drawback. Other shoppers will use it. I don’t care if a car has Carplay (I use an android), but I’m not going to ding a car that has it.
I rent cars weekly and have had all sorts of volvos. It takes 15 seconds to turn off all the safety systems or reduce the sensitivity. And that’s without consulting any manuals. Volvo has the most intuitive UI I’ve seen so far.
Not sure why I liked this car so much but it was a dump to drive
