One of my friends had a new Wrangler in 2012 that needed a new transmission after about 20k miles. Then the second tranny lasted about 5k miles. Then the third tranny had the same whine that precluded the first two failures as soon as he drove it home from the dealer. The engine had been running rough and getting

Sexual assault is a university problem, not an inherently fraternity problem. If you look at statistics and number, rather than anecdotes. You'll see that fraternities are significantly less likely to have sexual assaults than those off campus (at least at my school). It makes sense why:

I realize all of this.

It's a safety thing. Winter storms mean many emergencies will occur. Mostly from idiots driving out in the storm. He would rather not deal with that if at all possible.

I've always wanted a TrailBlazer but that still seems too expensive.

No, being raped depends on the supply and demand at that time.

Or they could get a cab.

I don't think anyone is doubting that Millenials drive cars. It's America, a car is a necessity.

Sport mode on the E39 M5 is definitely justified. It's supposed to be a Jekyll & Hyde sedan; smooth cruiser when you need is, four door race car when necessary.

The best car I ever owned was my 1997 540i 6 speed. Pre-VANOS 1997s were spectacularly reliabe, decent MPG, fast enough to beat a 2009 Mustang GT, and easily upgradable with the handsome Msport body kit and cheap aftermarket navs. I wish I had kept mine as a daily because my M5 is significantly more expensive to run.

Cobalt SS turbo was the fastest FWD car around the nurburgring for a couple years until some ridiculously expensive, track prepped, limited edition Megane took it.

It's what the Leaf was supposed to be. More than twice the range for the same price and it has a bit a character, of which the Leaf has none.

The 540i wagon only comes in automatic

Remember the whole Toyota unintended acceleration thing? Yeah, that's why the engine off buttons have to work in every single gear.

This is like owning a phone and getting upgraded to Android 5.0 for free. Could you imagine if other companies did this?

Model S is actually quite clever. Before the Model T, gas, electric and Steam cars were all popular. In fact, electric cars were considered a luxury item and outsold gas cars. It was Henry Ford's choice to use gasoline that madw it the de facto automotive fuel

Chevy Citation. Like you could actually go fast enough to get a Citation.

I flew American to Europe this summer and was surprised at how great the service was... Compared to the prior all-time-low.

Norwegian. Sometimes cheaper, always better. Nicer 737s, free WiFi, MUCH more leg room than any other discount airline and they treat you well.

Few things seem more terrifying than a 170k mile, twin-turbo, V8, AWD, Automatic, early 2000's Audi. Even the FWD, CVT powered A6s of this generation were pretty piss poor in the reliability department.
