I'm a certified tire tech. The proper rotation pattern isn't front-to-back; this won't protect against premature toe wear as well as a cross rotation would. If you have rotational (unidirectional) tires, front-to-back is the only option, of course. Staggered-fitment front and rear wheels also have to be rotated side
